Senior Construction Project Manager

Job Description

This client is a leading residential developer in Ireland. They focus on building high-quality homes and creating sustainable communities. They emphasise sustainability and modern methods of construction and are seeking a talented and driven Project Manager/Senior Project Manager to join their team.
The Role:They are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager/Senior Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of our residential development projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex projects from inception to completion, with a strong focus on quality, budget control, and stakeholder management. The specific title (Project Manager or Senior Project Manager) will be determined based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities (may vary depending on level):
Project Planning & Execution: Develop and implement detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with company objectives and client expectations.Team Leadership & Management: Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.Budget Control & Cost Management: Manage project budgets effectively, track expenses, and implement cost-saving measures where appropriate. Prepare regular cost reports and forecasts.Construction Management: Oversee all aspects of the construction process, ensuring adherence to quality standards, building regulations, and safety protocols.Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, local authorities, community groups, and other key stakeholders.Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential project risks, proactively addressing challenges and developing effective solutions.Contract Administration: Manage contracts with contractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.Reporting & Communication: Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards.Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations on site.
Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the residential construction industry. (7-10 years for Senior PM)Proven track record of successfully delivering residential projects on time and within budget.Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6). Knowledge of Irish building regulations and planning processes.Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) is a plus.
