Project Manager Role and Responsibilities:This role will see the successful candidate responsible for planning, managing and delivering projects, from initiation to close, which meet agreed business and technical objectives within time, cost and quality standards
What’s involved:Maintain an appropriate project governance structure and effective communication processes for all assigned projects in Cards Change DeliveryFollow the Banks standard project management framework, setting out the reporting, control and escalation mechanisms and incorporating the necessary internal approval mechanisms as requiredManage project issues, risks, dependencies and change control within agreed processes, and update Business Case accordingly, to ensure delivery of project results within the agreed scopeManage the project budgets on behalf of the Executive Sponsor/Cards Change Delivery Lead, monitoring and reporting the costs against the delivered and realised benefitsProvide the necessary reports on project status to Delivery Support Project InitiationCollate all information and produce and maintain the Project Documentation and Project Plans and agree these with associated Business OwnersMonitor the overall project progress, resolving issues, initiating corrective action and referring major issues upwards to the Programme Manager / Cards Change Delivery Lead as appropriateCo-ordinate and foster teamwork and manage the knowledge and skills transfer within the projectEnsure robust estimates are in place and agreed with the Programme Manager/Cards Change Delivery LeadCommunicate with all stakeholders and develop the change management/training plan for the business
What you need:7+ years’ Project Management experienceStrong knowledge of the Cards business within Financial ServicesIn-depth knowledge of project processes, software development cycle, compliance, regulatory and implementation standardsProven ability to engage with, and leverage, partners to deliver the projectStrong familiarity with quality management concepts and their applicationExcellent relationship/ stakeholder management skillsExtensive knowledge of testing processes & methodologies
