The Opportunity:We are seeking an experienced and driven Civil Engineering Project Manager / Site Manager to take charge of our civils and specialized services division. This is a key leadership role that will enable us to grow the division, manage upcoming contracts, and deliver successful outcomes on high-profile projects.
Key Responsibilities:· Oversee and manage small civil engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and to high-quality standards.· Provide expertise in surfacing and bituminous treatments, ensuring projects meet commercial, technical, and operational requirements.· Manage road marking processes and liaise with clients, contractors, and teams to ensure successful implementation.· Lead the tendering process for new projects, demonstrating commercial awareness and ensuring competitiveness.· Promote and enforce a strong culture of health and safety across all projects and sites.· Develop, mentor, and manage project teams to achieve operational excellence.· Liaise with stakeholders and build strong relationships with clients to support the company’s growth in the civils sector. Key Skills & Experience Required:· Proven experience as a Project Manager / Site Manager in the civil engineering sector.· Strong knowledge and experience in managing road surfacing, bituminous treatments, and road markings.· Demonstrable experience in tendering and commercial management.· Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations with a commitment to fostering a safe working environment.· Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.· Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.· Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering or a related discipline (desirable).
