Position: Senior Project ManagerLocation: National Innovation Hub, Teagasc Moorepark, Fermoy, Co. Cork, IrelandContract Duration: Permanent Basis

We are seeking a dynamic, committed and experienced Project Manager to lead and manage a range of NPD and research projects at H&H. This role will require you to take projects from concept through to delivery, ensuring that all initiatives align with our business objectives. You will be responsible for creating detailed project plans, managing resources, coordinating with stakeholders across multiple regions, and ensuring timely, successful execution in a complex, fast-moving environment.
This role involves working across a fast-changing and global landscape, including key regions such as Australia, China, Europe as well as the US. The successful candidate must be comfortable working with different time zones, managing cross-cultural collaborations and must excel in stakeholder management, time management, and project planning..

Key responsibilities include:
End-to-End Project Management: Coordinate the entire lifecycle of NPD, EPD and Research and Technology Projects from development to delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timeline executionProject Planning & Execution: Develop comprehensive project planning including: timeline, and risk analyses.. Continuously monitor and adapt plans to meet changing project needs.Adapt Project Management Frameworks: Propose and apply project management methodologies tailored to the Health and Happiness (H&H) business context, ensuring they address the specific needs of H&HStakeholder Management: Coordinate and communicate with internal (R&D, marketing, quality, sales) and external stakeholders to ensure clear, consistent collaboration, goal alignment and timely delivery of objectives.Cross-functional Collaboration: support cross-functional teams, bridging the gap between technical experts and commercial teams, to ensure that product development aligns with market needs and regulatory requirements.Resource Allocation: Ensure effective resource planning, including budgeting, personnel allocation, and materials management, to drive successful project outcomes.Documentation & Reporting: Maintain up-to-date and accurate project documentation, including progress reports, risk assessments, and financial updates for management and stakeholders.NPD Stage Gate Process: Execute the EPD/NPD stage-gate process effectively, ensuring compliance with all phases of product development, from concept through to launch.Problem Solving: Identify and resolve project challenges proactively, ensuring any issues related to timelines, budget, or scope are quickly addressed.

Key Expertise and Skills:
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, ideally with strong experience in infant formula development.Stage Gate Expertise: Strong familiarity with stage-gate process, alongside experience managing both research and product development projects.Cross-functional & Cross-cultural Collaboration: Proven ability to work across diverse functions (R&D, marketing, quality, sales) and geographical regions (Australia, China, Europe, US), adapting to the unique needs of each.Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.Adaptability & Problem-Solving: Ability to navigate and thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment with changing project dynamics and tight deadlines.Financial skills: Experience in managing project budgets and financial reporting, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within financial constraints.Time Management & Organization: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and oversee multiple projects simultaneously.Teamwork & Leadership: Strong leadership and teamwork skills, capable of motivating and guiding teams to achieve project success.Proficiency in Tools: Familiarity with project management tools, as well as a strong working knowledge of budgeting and reporting tools.
