Overview

As the Infrastructure Project Manager in our Application Data and Infrastructure Services (ADIS) technology team in Dublin, you will draw upon your experiance and proven track record project managing in a very technical oriented environment. Reporting into the PMO and working directly with infrastructure, support and software engineers, technology managers, traders and business domain experts in a fast-paced environment to help drive large infrastructure and technology projects that directly impact our core trading businesses.

As a PM with Susquehanna you will be tasked with providing project management services for the deployment of large infrastructure, integration and software migration projects within the Dublin office and our Co-location Data Centers across Europe.

You will create and manage project plans and schedules, coordinate activities of related teams, identify potential issues, provide status reporting/updates and facilitate these projects and initiatives through to completion. You will develop business requirements and project plans as well as evaluate appropriate methodologies (or aspects of methodologies) that best apply to these projects to ensure that they are deployed and implemented according to the needs of the business teams with whom you are working. Projects will consist of software migration, data and configuration management and infrastructure deployments in a highly distributed environment.

You will also be responsible for ensuring solutions are properly documented and supported within our production environment and that hard deadlines for Exchange Driven Changes(EDCs) are met. Essential Functions

Plan, organize and facilitate the development and implementation of projects focused on infrastructure, integration, DR testing and software migration Assist teams with the planning of large production deployments to address business needs and/or potential issues that may arise within projects; raise awareness and escalate issues when necessary to help support the teams through to project completion Communicate project status and requirements to all levels of staff and management regularly; increase project transparency for all participants and stakeholders Facilitate meetings to determine trading desk requirements; ensure adaptive and thorough project plans are created to outline specific business objectives. Coordinate teams to facilitate the execution of specific projects, guiding their activities to ensure project objectives are met. Successfully manage the relationship between all third parties and stakeholders. Perform risk management to minimize project risk. Document and track any open issues for stakeholders and project teams. Coach and mentor other project managers across the team as needed Contribute to strategic decision making surrounding projects under responsibility Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and regularly update the business with progress updates.

What We're Looking For

Minimum 5 years hands-on management of infrastructure and software migration projects; experience in managing Data Centre Relocation and Colocation support. Third level qualifications preferable in the fields of Computer Science. Ability to work independently, multi-task effectively and adapt to changes in a fast-paced evolving environment to meet business priorities. Demonstrate a holistic understanding of data center operations (i.e., production operations, server, storage, networks, database, systems, help desk, DR/business recovery and continuity practices, etc.) Strong leadership, planning, estimation, and risk management skills. Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development, datacenters, storage and server migration. Occasional short haul Travel required to Data Centres in Europe. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to understand and assess probabilistic outcomes as a way to manage risk an advantage. Experience in managing resources within a matrix environment. Ability to evaluate project requirements and objectively analyze them to choose appropriate strategies, tools and/or project management methodologies. Excellent communication (both oral and written) and organizational skills required - Communication mechanisms including project status reports and dashboards, meeting agendas and minutes and executive reports and presentations Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel; experience utilizing Visio and Microsoft Project.

Nice To Have Skills

Knowledge of JIRA, SQL and/or Business Intelligence reporting tools (such as QlikView) a plus Experience in vendor package evaluation, procurement and implementation a plus PMI/ PRINCE II certification a plus Experience / familiarity In operation of Asset Management system
