Senior Project Manager – Oracle eBusiness Suite Payroll Implementation
Job Description:A large public sector organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the upgrade and implementation of a new Oracle eBusiness Suite Payroll System. This is a 6-12 month contract role based in Dublin. Hybrid work model.
Job Responsibilities:Manage the end-to-end implementation and upgrade of Oracle eBusiness Suite Payroll Systems.Collaborate with stakeholders across IT, HR, and finance to ensure smooth project execution.Develop and oversee project plans, timelines, and deliverables to align with organisational goals.Identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies to ensure project success.Liaise with third-party vendors, technical teams, and business units to ensure seamless integration.Ensure compliance with relevant public sector standards, governance, and policies.Manage project budgets, reporting, and resource allocation effectively.Provide leadership to project teams, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
Experience Required:Minimum 10 years of experience in project management, with a strong track record in IT system implementations.Experience managing large-scale Oracle eBusiness Suite Payroll System projects or other large scale ERP Payroll Systems.Proven ability to manage projects in complex public sector environments.Strong background in stakeholder engagement and vendor management.Experience handling project governance, risk management, and reporting at a senior level.
Desirable Skills:Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).Understanding of public sector procurement and compliance frameworks.Experience working with cross-functional teams in IT, finance, and HR.
Educational Requirements:Third-level degree in IT, Business, or a related field.
